haha, I'll keep what I got. I'm sure a few more females will sign up and they may want those characters.

Mel? I kid, I kid

Perhaps the Rani, you might like her. Or perhaps Romana.

The Kandyman?

Nah, just kidding.  (The Happiness Patrol IS awesome, though).

Seriously, though - Tripe's suggestions are both good choices (well, technically, all THREE of them since there are two Romanas).  The Rani is a tough, domineering villainness, while Romana's personality differs between her first and second incarnation (first: a bit haughtier and less willing to put up with the Doctor's silliness; second: lighter and more bubbly).   Lots of people like the second Romana better.  Me, I prefer the first one.

Ace (the one in the clip I showed) is also an excellent choice - one of my favorites.  Got to beat up a Dalek with a baseball bat, which is awesome. And as much as I like her, she's not all THAT hard to get the basics of in terms of in-characterness.  Just call the Doctor "Professor" and use words like "ace" and "wicked" a lot.

Leela's another one you could go with if you're looking for something in the "strong female character" vein.  She's a woman from a primitive culture (though more than capable of grasping the basics of technology) who likes to stab things and dislikes using contractions.  And if I'm not mistaken, she literally never screamed.  Ever.

Someone must want to be the Who-vian precursor to Lady Gaga.

OK, I usually go by something I can find on a comic cover, but not being any of the Doctors has made it tough.  That said, I did find some good ones, but I think I'll be a yeti, because they are cute yet  horrifying.  Plus I couldn't find a comic with the killer chair that terrified me when I was young.

I remember that being much more impressive.

Still, the killer flower plot was awesome.

Lots of people like the second Romana better.  Me, I prefer the first one.
I'd have to do a lot of in depth comparison study to really say which I preferred. ;)

Actually though she could be both Romanas, she'd just need to regenerate a couple of rounds in.

I'm guessing there's generally a large break between mafias. Am I right?

When we first started playing them, not really but now we're 25 in pretty much.

I thought so. I guess it's pretty tough to get 25 people to play.

Any room for someone who's a complete novice? Someone who's never played the game before in any form?
