Return of the King and ffmpeggui
« on: June 24, 2010, 07:45:06 AM »
Anyone else having problems with ffmpeggui crunching the Return of the King Riffed audio file?  After normalizing and auto ducking I get error "TProgressBar Property out of range"   ???WTF

Is there any other way to convert it to an AC3 file?

It will convert the file, you just wont have a progress bar. Just hit convert, then acknowlege the TBar message, and then wait for it to finish.

Oh, that's where that ac3 came from!

I'd been grabbing other converters in an attempt to get something that works, and eventually I noticed the file and was trying to figure out what program produced it.

Yup.  Had the same problem with Titanic.

Thanx, I'll give it a try.

Having the same problem, only leaving it does nothing.  Could someone give me a hand?

I'm having problems with everything after the ffmpegui step actually.  I get the "TProgress Bar" error listed above, but it creates the file.  Then when I go to DVDShrink, it says there was a problem, but it still creates the files, finally, when I go to Handbrake, it refuses to read the ISO files at all.

Instead of using the FFMPEG UI, use the command prompt version, FFMPEG.EXE
I never have issues with AC3, MP3 or WAV conversions using command lines.

When i got that error (didn't realize it would still make the file) I used my back up encoder Aften. It does a decent job.
