(Not to mention when I was a kid and got animated versions of the Happy Days gang travelling through time, Laverne & Shirley in the Army ,

Those sound just insane enough that I would end up watching them every week just to laugh at how insane they were.

But those still made more sense than Turbo Teen.

Robot Chicken had a great Turbo Teen sketch.

Unfortunately, looks like Generator Rex is cut from the same sheet metal cloth:

Probably one of my favorite Saturday morning program blocks as a kid. The intro blew me away and it still does now.
"Don't make me shoot you...CROOOOOOOOOW!"

I could take or leave most of the One Saturday Morning shows, but I loved (and still do love) "Recess", "The Weekenders", and "Teacher's Pet".
