Ah Batman! It's great cheese. I want them on DVD too.

How is it that the movie is allowed to be released if the show is in legal limbo?

Anyway, Adam West got tired of waiting around for the rights issues to get resolved for the DVD release so he went ahead and recorded commentary for all 120 episodes. It's available over here at West's website. And there's a nice review of it at Comics Alliance.
