Even Rifftrax might be overpowered...

Seriously, I refused to watch Avatar with family, boyfriend, or friends because I knew I would hate it, but just watching that sample scene, the big blue character designs were so off putting, the background colors so garish, the dialogue about "This not to be thanked for! This is sad!" was so clunky and grating that I couldn't finish it. I cannot imagine watching a double feature length movie of that kind of thing, Riffing be damned.

I'll watch any riffed movie once, since I'm hardcore enough to buy all of them.  But Avatar is one of those I can't watch more than once.  Some are even worse when riffed, i.e. The Phantom Menace.

Never seen Crossroads and don't plan to.  Like Thrifty I buy almost everything Rifftrax puts out.  Watched Avatar straight up before I finished authoring a riffed DVD and won't ever watch it unriffed again.  It's a contrived special effects extravaganza that beats you over the head with it's message that earth people are bad Americans (including that Australian until he dumps his human body.)

Nope. I will watch any RiffTrax(ed) movie they throw at me. I may not watch it again... but I will watch it at least once.   I trust them to give me a funny product no matter what they riff. Sure some don't hit the mark for me every time but neither did MST.

I am being serious.  I decided I wouldn't see it because it never seems to come up much for discussion but as soon as someone says it's good I'm reconsidering.  If you wanted to sell me the Brooklyn Bridge I'm not sure what I'd say.

Though they do have a different feel, I always liked the Mike solo tracks.  Just listened to Cocktail for the first time last night and I've always liked the riffs for Over the Top and Predator.

Heard the Crossroads riff.  Very good and the movie wasn't that hard to watch.  Zoe and Brittany are easy on the eyes.  Thanks for recommending it.  Now I'm hardcore too.

Avatar 2 will be the first one that I can't even watch once. I even made it thru BOTH transformers movies at least once. Avatar 2 I wont subject myself too
