I'm not listening yet, but I just got John Carpenter's two "Lost Themes" album.  Looking forward to it.

Looks interesting and the whole album looks like it's composed all of original material.

What song am I listening to now? At the moment, I am not listening to music, but your idea sounds to be  interesting.

"Birthday" By Katy Perry
I'm not particularly religious, and I don't really like Muppets, but I do love word play.

So, a friend of mine introduced me to PostModern Jukebox. They do vintage jazz style covers of popular music. Every single song I've listened to is better than the last, although I think Bad Romance wins because tap dancing flappers are amazing.

They run hot and cold for me, I really love probably half their songs, the rest not so much....

That said, Swipe Right For Vintage is an awesome album.

Glorious! This band I love, Tragedy: All Metal Tribute to the Bee Gees And Beyond, they also do a great cover of Africa.

"The Immigrant song" by Led Zeppelin... only cuz I heard it in Thor Ragnarok. Bought it off Amazon MP3 the other day. It's the only Led Zeppelin song I own because well, I frankly always found them kind of overrated. Yeah, I know that's gonna get me a slap.
