Just had Cheerios dulce de leche flavor. A resounding "meh" from me.

Good to know. I'll stick with plain and occasionally choco.

It had a weird aftertaste and then repeated on me for a while. I'd hoped it would taste like caramel but it didn't, really.

Did you use milk?  You're not supposed to use milk.  You're clearly meant to replace the milk with dulce de leche.

Ohhhhh... next time I'll used sweetened condensed milk, that should do it.

I am addicted to marinated quartered artichoke.  And I've started making my own.

Good stuff.

Never liked brie, either. I agree about the taste -- it tastes like mushrooms, or dirt.

How did you eat it? Just in a bowl by itself, or in tacos, or...?

I pulled it appart into junks and served over rice with a small bit of sour cream and some tasty hot sauce.   It made a lot so I will have it the next few days.  I used a bowl.

Just plain simple rice.      The meat, spices and sauce provide it taste without overriding the pork taste.

But Spanish rice would be fine to I guess.

I tried my hand at molĂ© yesterday.  It didn't turn out very well.  It was really bitter.   I don't know if it was because of the unsweetened chocolate, or if I burned it somewhere along the way.  I'll have to try again!

Probably the latter, chocolate's pretty delicate and it's easy to accidentally burn a little which then ruins the whole batch.

nikuman, steamed pork buns. Best on a cold morning with a coffee on the way to work.

It's things like that that make me more keen to take part in the Sister City swap my Township does. This year the Japanese are coming here but next year... (I couldn't do it last year but I wanted to). :)

I don't like any sauce that color.

So you're saying you wouldn't like this?:

Delicious, though Octopus is a bit like pork for me, so very clever, I have difficulty eating it.
