I guess that makes sense.  Meyer gets to cash in on the success of her franchise while not being forced to continue on with the Edward/Bella stuff.  My sister will probably be delighted.

That means there will be more movies and this thing will never end.  We are going to be stuck with it being the biggest thing on earth from now on :gouge:

Ehn, so what? We comic book nerds have plenty to be happy about lately.  Let the people who like this stuff have their thing too.

I can't go into Wal mart right now with out Twilight blaring at me on every tv.    Look I am sorry but it seems pretty silly to come into the twilight section of the Rifftrax forum and complain about people not liking twilight.  If I had posted what i did in the Twilights fan forum you would have had a point but as it stands,I don't see how i crossed the line.

Keep in mind: There are nine Air Bud movies.  Pretty soon we are looking at straight to DVD Twilight films.

...coming after? I'm not coming after anyone.  I'm merely being reasonable about the whole thing.

Look all i am saying is that this may not be the best place to look for people who are happy about this news.  I for one am sick of Twilight.  As I have said before i would be happy to ignore it like i do tons of shows and movies but the makers are shoving it in my face like nothing else that i can remember.  I mean i can go outside, turn on my Tv,and open my mailbox with out seeing Iron Man 2 or V,Not so with Twilight. It's on every magazine,on every station on tv,and I can't even buy food for dinner with out being forced to watch the movie.  I have kept my piece for over a year but i have now had it.  I will ingore Twilight when the media lets me.  If I had it my way i wouldn't even know what Twilight was.

Eh, she can't milk this forever.  The teentards will be on to the next big thing before you know it no matter how many new books she puts out in this franchise.

Say what you will about JK Rowling, and I have, but at least she knew that when the A Story was over, it was time to close up the franchise.

It will be interesting to see how the franchise holds up once the core demographic grows up.  I'm not comparing the two, but lots of grown-ups who loved Star Wars as a kid still love it now.

Then there'll be a need for new fans to be introduced to the franchise if it's going to be more than just a fad.   :)

I kinda compare it to how HUGE the Titanic fad was for a time and how Leo Dicaprio couldn't walk down the street without a gun in his hand because of how many screaming teenage girls wanted to do him.  But it faded over time and I think it will as well for this series and for the hell Robert Patterson must be going through right now.  I mean, it's so bad for him that he said in an interview six months ago that he goes weeks without washing his hair to give it that greasy look for the movies.  Dude is saying ANYthing to get the rabid bitches off his ass and nothing's working.  Two years from now he won't be able to pay a woman to date him.

That's the great thing about highschool chicks. Twilight gets older, but they stay the same age.

Here's a horrible thought: Imagine how bad the remake is going to be in twenty years.
