Yep. That's right. I waived Greinke. (PantsParty'10SteveLyonsRevenge)

Feel free to pick him up and watch him get lit up, and as a bonus, pour salt in the wound when he puts in a decent outing and gets no run support!

Best of luck with all that!

-DB

Yeah, that is why I did not draft him in our league.   I think he had lightning in a bottle last year and I did not believe that the Royals could do anything to support him.

So, I waive the "great" Greinke and replace him with James Shields, who promptly takes the mound and gives up 9 hits, 8 earned runs, 4 walks, and SIX HOME RUNS in 4 innings!

This is my fantasy season in a nutshell...actually, on second thought, make that a bombshell.

I suppose now would be an inappropriate time to tell you that I'm running away with my league. :P

From Yahoo Sports:

Quote
A case of claustrophobia caused Manny Ramirez to postpone an MRI he was supposed to undergo on Friday. Ramirez continues to receive treatment for his strained calf in Arizona, according to the Dodgers.

Has there ever been an update that so perfectly captures the essence of a player? No, indeed there has not. Kudos, LA Times.

Dead on!  :D

I'm liking getting Chris Dickerson for free, too.

What is a Brandon Phillips?!    Cardinals win pennants, Cubs at least sell t-shirts.  Reds just lose.  Win something before mouthing off.     Sweet losers flapping gums.

Oh, cards win tonight Brandon, go login and Twitter until the tears dry up.
