Ugh...I turn on the game, the first inning isn't even over, and ANOTHER one of our starters has already gotten rocked.  This team just can't stop the bleeding lately.
Correction: the coat hanger should be upside down.

Son of a...

After a home run, the Rockies are down 9-2, so I figure, "Well, that's it" and turn the game off to watch a movie. Afterwards, I'm curious to see the final scoe so I turn the TV back on, where I see a big "Win!" flashing on the score board. They scored 9 runs in the bottom of the 9th to win it.  Argh.I guess I'll watch the replay tomorrow.

And I went to bed when it was 9-3 in the ninth thinking, "okay, another win".

14 more wins... that's all Wakefield needs to break Clemens & Cy Young's record for most wins by a pitcher in a Red Sox uniform.

Tonight's not looking good so far...  :-\

That ruled. The largest walkoff-comeback since 1901 if I'm not mistaken.

In Brewerland, logical fan has to deal w/ this:

Sigh. *facepalm*

On a good note, I was originally going to the game tonight to see Lincecum pitch (the humidity steered me away), and thankfully I didn't...

If Doug buys at the trade-deadline, I'm gonna cheer for the Pirates for the rest of the season.  :D

I can breathe easier now that Cliff Lee has been traded to the Rangers & NOT the Yankees as was expected as of lunchtime today.  Kept hearing "deal's done with the Yanks" and all of the sudden BAM! He's with the Rangers!   :highfive:

Wait... Lee was supposed to start tonight. I'm surprised they didn't hold off on the deal for a few hours so he could start tonight against NY.

Yeah, that was weird.   One minute ESPN is wetting their pants over the Yankees getting Lee, then poof!
