What are your hopes for your team(s) this year?

I hope the Dodgers can win the NL West again. Wondering how much of a factor Manny will be. Also a bit concerned about losing Juan Pierre and Orlando Hudson.

I still think they can win the NL West, and maybe even somehow beat St. Louis again in the division series.

By the way, I hope Matt Holliday hasn't bothered to spend any extra time shagging flies this spring.

I think he spent most of his time looking at previous Cardinal-Dodger playoff results! >:D

I am going to try to go the Rockies game on Sat. and since I have no car, no need to worry about silly parking fees

So, in a dream world, the Rockies will win the Worlds Series, and the Broncos will win the next Super bowl. Oh and I am nice and my cats are pretty

and NO i will not come back to reality

Do you have tickets already?  The wife & I might try to go to that game if other plans fall through.  (Or at worst, wanna meet up for a beer or something after the game?  I hear there's a bar across the street from the condo we're staying at downtown on Grant St.)

I'm torn, I want the Yankees to lose, but I have CC Sabathia as one of my starting pitchers.

Maybe the Red Sox can distract him by leaving a burger on the field.

I'm in the same boat.  I've got him in the other league.

And Pedro.... seriously?

Don't worry Bill Hall. It's only opening night and the biggest rivalry in baseball, I'm sure no one saw you trip up the dugout steps as you were introduced.

Man, I wish all MLB telecasts had 10,000 camera angles, AXIS Replay, and K-Zone.

Great opener, by the way. I thought Sabbathia was just gonna roll, but that was a total meltdown and it turned into a hell of a game!

I do not. I will have to wait until Friday to buy them (payday). If I don't get tickets, we can still grab a beer though

So are Cubs fans losing their minds after Carlos Zambrano coughed up 8 runs in 1.1 innings today? (You're killing my team you fat load!)

Since he is not on my fantasy team or a team I like, this is a double good thing.   I wonder if Pinella's fat head exploded yet.

And I see having the first pick in the draft has its advantages!

I went out to the MLB site this morning to see if they had downloadable schedules that you can add to your mobile device or Exchange calendar..... and they DO.

http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/schedule/team_by_team.jsp

Pick you team, go to the downloadable calendar option and choose how you want the calendar.   I picked as a new calendar for Microsoft Exchange so I now have the Cardinals and Astro schedules as "Other Calendars".   Getting the schedules from your iphone is pretty sweet if you ask me.
