Okay, maybe the NEXT time they'll do these two things, especially since one of them is still fairly new, but...

1)  Making fun of "Edward" with Jimmy Fallon's "Robert is Bothered" bit.

2)  Making fun of "Edward" via Mike Nelson's Robert Smith.  "Have I mentioned I'm in pain," or, whatever he said....

Do you mean, "Did I mentioned that I cried?" thing - the Pop Singer Tupperware?  That was Morrissey that he was imitating, then.

Damn.  Yeah.  That's what I meant.  That's for the correction.  ....It could have still worked.....

Have there been any references to Mr. Sparkle yet?  That seems like one big flaming missed opportunity to me.  I mean, they can't do three sparkly vampire movies without mentioning Mr. Sparkle, can they?

Either I missed it, or they missed out on a golden opportunity to do a Frost/Nixon reference when Michael Sheen was onscreen...Instead they went for the gay jokes. Understandable, but even a "When the Volturi do it, it's not illegal!" when they're leaving and Bella looks back as the Volturi's victims scream would've been hilarious.
Whoa--that's the same guy? That would have been SO dang funny and appropriate.

I was thinking the same thing.

Edward. He is disrespectful to dirt.

Yeah - He's the Volturi guy who talks the most. I had no idea until I watched his appearance on Top Gear, and they asked him about it.

I was dissapointed that there was no Life Day reference during the scene with all the red robes.

In the opening dream sequence, I thought to myself "It must be tough to put on your makeup and do your hair just right when you don't show up in mirrors."

A fight between two huge wolves and no Michael Vick joke?

We did get a good Cesar Millan joke, though. Maybe they're saving Vick for a future installment.

Cesar Milan is funnier than Michael Vick anyway.

Does Milan make the dogs fight?

In the opening dream sequence, I thought to myself "It must be tough to put on your makeup and do your hair just right when you don't show up in mirrors."

All I could think was "That fight in the first movie with James in front of all those mirrors - both of whom were clearly seen - but now, suddenly Edward doesn't show up?  Or is Bella's attention to detail just not worth shit?"  And before someone says "It was a dream"....this is the guy who is the obsession of her every waking hour....she should have every pimple on his neck in the right place much less....

I don't find dog fighting funny. But Cesar Milan training dogs to maul Michael Vick would be hilarious.
