Sparkly menus.
« on: March 19, 2010, 07:54:54 PM »
Main menu.
Riff selection menu.
Chapter selection page 1.
Chapter selection page 2.
Chapter selection page 3.
Chapter selection page 4.
Main Menu music.
Riff selection Menu music. (AC3 format).
Chapter Menu Music. (AC3 format).

Menu music was taken from Castlevania 2, because if there's one thing Twilight needs, it's Simon Belmont.  Main menu is the overworld night time map.  Chapter menu music is the mansion music.

Redid the original post to include the riff selection menu, and the riff selection menu music.  I changed the main menu to use the same music I used in the original Twilight menus, and moved the Castlevania overworld music to the riff selection menu.

Somebody should use the Rifftones' "Sparkly Vampires" as menu music. Doy.

If - when I get New Moon - I can fit both movies on one disc, I might do that.

Otherwise, I guess I'm unusual in that I don't bother with menus unless I can fit more than one movie on a disc.  Or chapter stops.  Just takes up space on the disc and (according to my Nero burner) it can effect the quality of the picture.

"And Jacob's getting wiiiiiiider." [/John from Airplane!]   ;)

You know Raven is coming out with a riff too, right?

I think I heard that.  If it happens, I'll get it and remake the menus then.  As it stands, it wouldn't make sense to put in a link to a riff that doesn't exist, would it?

I think this is one of my favorite menus.  There's a lot of good, high quality, landscape art out there.  The Twilight font (or at least, a reasonable knock-off) was available for free.

For some weird reason, when I load up the reauthored DVD files, it plays through one cycle of the music, then reboots the computer.  I need to test another DVD.  I did something different with the way I extracted the music this time.

Not to be a dick, but why aren't the pics for the menus from when he's actually sparkly?

I dig it. Our name looks interesting in that font. I think you should've called the official one "MBK version," tho. I always like referring to the official guys as MBK. Makes them sound like a mercenary force, like Army of 2 guys or something.

In the news today, MBK was found to have shady ties to the Colombian government...
