Due to popular demand that we cease splitting shorts and just charge the extra buck already

I Also support this

This is a fantastic short. Top notch. The Pee Wee Herman impression was definitely a highlight.

And on that subject, the movie portrays "withdrawerels" in such a way they seem to indicate they're no worse than a mild nightmare. Heck, if that's all it is to get off of them, I may try heroin! :)

Well, what do you expect from non-professional actors?  If you want your withdrawerels to look realistic you have to hire a professional.  Just think of the kids that were lost because of the poor acting, so sad.

You can add me to the list of people who hope this will be the standard from now on.

As far as this issue goes, I didn't much like it from the start, but I didn't consider it a major problem until American Thrift. I was really looking forward to part 2, and was severely disappointed when it arrived. In addition to the lack of Veronica, the style just seemed totally different. Combine that with the minimal cohesion the short had in the first place, and I felt like I was watching two completely different shorts that just happened to have the same name (neither of which I really got the point of). American Thrift part 2 wasn't actually bad, but I loved part 1, and part 2 was definitely not what I spent all that time waiting for.

So yeah, I'm happy to pay double for double length shorts, made all at once.

On the subject of this short. First time watching it I actually did think he said. ..." They were taking the drugs out of my system. With 'Droral' they called it. I assumed Droral was a kind of anti-heroin drud I'd never heard of. A second later Kevin cleared that up and I made a mental note to smack myself on the forehead later.

I've been through alcohol and benzodiazipine withdrawal more than a couple times. I'm an alchoholic, and before that I was hooked on sleeping pills for at least 15 years (should have stayed with the pills). To say it sucks would be an understatement. But at least I was never this stupid.

"I just punched out a kid for laughing cause I smoked the first thing he game to me. Does it look like I'm smart?!"

And seriously, Moose hires the guy to be a boxer, then pressures him into trying a drug he'd never had right before the first fight?

The Reefer Madness madness continues.  This short, too, teaches us that drug dealers go out of their way to recruit individually and that they're pretty lax about collecting money in exchange for the drugs.  Also it teaches us that the intense pressure of being called "square" by some weird guy at a party or a club will conquer even the strongest willpower.

Note also the indirect message that working mothers inevitably raise delinquent children (cf. The Violent Years).

I'd be a heroine addict too if the only alternative for happiness was sex with Anne Frank clones.

That's what you get for repeating freshman year 15 times.  Love the new format, and love the new short.  I didn't mind the extra dollar at all.

I'm also glad they're no longer splitting longer shorts (as evidenced by the new one today) but let me say this in defense of the split shorts.  All the "previously on..." skits and whatnot were very funny.  I'm going to miss those. :(

LMFAO  Hey, the previously on stuff was awesome, but this brave new path is still for the best.

I'm still having it both ways, ain't I?  <runs for thread exit>
