Rudoph Video issue
« on: January 26, 2010, 07:01:54 AM »
Anyone of the other re-authorers have issues with the Rudoph source video?
The video is too short, but it looks complete when I scan through it???
The audio seems fine.

I just got around to re-mixing this short but my DVD authoring tool ("GUI for dvdauthor") keeps barfing on the video. Haven't tracked down the issue yet. Did you figure anything out?

Anybody ever find a fix for this? I get the same thing - every time I try to burn the mpeg to DVD, it fails. Only short this has happened to for me.

I switched to muxman as my authoring engine (in "GUI for dvdauthor") and it worked. I don't really know what the root issue is. I didn't have the "video is too short" problem that gammer mentioned.

Yeah, I had an issue with Rudolph, too.  When I MUX the video and audio, the two don't sync up properly.

Yeah, I had an issue with Rudolph, too.  When I MUX the video and audio, the two don't sync up properly.

From another thread, I had to cut 2.062 seconds from the front of the source and riff audio files to line up with the video.
