Why are there convenience stores called Kwik Mart when clearly there should be a QU and a C in the first word?

Its a gimmic.

I'm enjoying Justified so far, fun show, plus Timothy Olyphant is on right now.

The titular line was hilarious, said twice in the first episode... "It was justified". Had to applaud the epicness, would make a fine catch phrase.

I noticed no use of "justified" in the second episode though, they need to make up for that in ep. 3!  ;D

They probably decided to open a convenience store after all of the standard names had already been taken.

I just spoke to my sister in Harlan today.  She said they saw a film crew driving down the 421 bypass with a cameraman stuck out the window, so in a future episode, you may actually get to see what Harlan, KY looks like.  It could become like Hawaii-Five-O, but instead of Hawaiians and tourist, it would be rednecks.
