Uhh, I don't remember any africans being in the movie, just a bunch of cuddly quadrapeds.

10 - Dune
9 - Krull
8 - The Black Hole
7 - The Guyver
6 - Judge Dredd
5 - Planet of the Apes (original)
4 - Eragon
3 - Charlie's Angels (1 or 2)
2 - Forrest Gump
1 - Reserved for an as yet undetermined Hollywood remake or movie version of a TV series OR The Wizard of Oz

There's a good chance I'll augment this list in a few weeks by adding the upcoming Transformers movie.

10. Krull... definitely second that one!
9. Willow, yes that one too.  In fact, pretty much any fantasy movie is delightfully riffable, as LOTR proved.  We suspend our disbelief while Mike and the gang rip great big gaping holes in it :)
8. The Day After Tomorrow.
7. Silence of the Lambs
6. How about one of the old historical "spectaculars" like Ben Hur or The Ten Commandments?
5. Or maybe a modern one like Gladiator?
4. Salute of the Jugger.  Oh yes....
3. Aliens.
2. Snakes on a Plane.... now there's a movie just begging to be riffed at.  The title alone qualifies this movie.
1. Harry Potter (any one of them except maybe the Chamber of Secrets... that one was a bit too bland for good riffing).

Well, "Song of the South" or "Birth of a Nation" it ain't!

I would love to see:

1.   Batman and Robin  (the movie hates us)
2.   Con-Air (retarded..... even for Bruckheimer)
3.   Under Siege 2 : The Dark Territory (or as I call it, the Apple Newton info-mercial).
4.   Titantic  (chick flick on steroids)
5.   28 Days Later (I LOVED this film, but I would love to see what the boys could do with it)
6.   Planet of the Apes (Charlton Heston and talking monkies!)
7.   Bram Stoker's Dracula ("whoa, the dark lord dude")
8.   E.T. (everyone loves this film but me, it is so dated and corny)
9.   Over the Top (Rocky arm wrasslin' with an anoying brat to boot)
10. Help! (i would love to see what they could do with a Beatles flick!)

Well, "Song of the South" or "Birth of a Nation" it ain't!

Alright, enough already. Song of the South isn't racist. It's a heartwarming tale of a little kid who looks up to a wise old storyteller. And the storyteller just happens to be black, but does that mean anything? It's a great kids' movie. I don't understand why it's on the same paragraph as The Birth of a Nation. Come on, dude, that's harsh.
This iRiff will only be on sale for another few hours. Get it while it's cheap!

For my first post:
1. Star Wars Episode 2: The movie actually has its moments, but there's more than enough cheese to lampoon. Plus, I own the DVD, for some reason that escapes me now.
2. Snakes on a Plane
3. Krull
4. A zombie film - House of the Dead or Resident Evil Apocalypse or an older film like Lucio Fulci's Zombie could work.
5. The Passion of the Christ - If they steered clear of making fun of Jesus, there's lots of jokes about Mel Gibson and his over the top direction that could be made.
6. A James Bond movie - Die Another Day or A View to a Kill would be good choices.
7. Masters of the Universe
8. Beastmaster - I love silly 80s fantasy (see numbers 3 and 7).
9. Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom
10. Xanadu
Forgot to Include: Clash of the Titans

The stately home of Charles Foster Kane!

Also, a musical starring Olivia Newton John with music by the Electric Light Orchestra.
