I'm a big horror fan, but to be honest even with the Riff I found myself getting bored in places. I didn't enjoy this movie that much when I saw it without the Riff, I was hoping Mike and the gang would make it worthwhile for me but I still found myself ready to nod off a few times. I'm not a huge fan of Sam Raimi's work anyway (I know, blasphemy), and to be honest I think he kind of ruined the film by making it too...Evil Deadish with the over the top effects.  It started out kind of interesting and just got too campy. With the riff I'd give it a 6-7 probably.
