I am still lamenting the loss of the below two channels that were my favorites:
Monsters HD was the first all-horror channel, and broadcast exclusively in 1080i high definition. Monsters HD was the longest-running HI-Def Horror & Creature Feature channel to date. Programming included uncut and commercial-free monster movies featuring such villains as Michael Myers (Halloween) (Halloween), Freddy Krueger (A Nightmare on Elm Street), Jason Voorhees (Friday The 13th), Frankenstein and Godzilla.
It was one of the Voom HD Networks and was available through Cablevision and Dish Network. Monsters HD, along with other Voom HD channels, ceased operations on January 20, 2009.
Kung Fu HD was an American movie network that broadcast exclusively in High definition. Programming included Martial arts films featuring such well known icons as Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, and Jet Li. Wire fu epics were often aired.
