Rank a Blame Society Production's 'Ghost Rider'..
(1/1)
RVR II:
I gave it a Solid 9
Their style of humor was pretty funny with this one IMO :D :D
MrTorso:
I gave it an 8. This one is not as good as the Running Man riff. The Nicolas Kage stuff was good, but wasn't over the top funny. Nothing in the riff that really sticks out for me yet. I find myself singing their "Perimeter De-Activated" song from Running Man a lot but I don't think anything in Ghost Rider has really stuck out for me yet.
Bob:
I really enjoyed this one. The "making fun of Nick Cage" routine never go old. The imitation was pretty funny.
Edward J Grug III:
I also gave it an 8. I enjoyed it a lot, though I do think The Running Man was a little better. Maybe because The Running Man is an easier movie to sit through?
At first I didn't like the Cage impersonator, but he really grew on me.
I would love to see the Blame Society guys take on Blade.
Anyway, whatever they do, I'm interested!
Compound:
Wow. You were easy touches on this one.
I gave it a 6.
I've liked the other BS riffs, but on this one, I felt the riffing was pretty uninspired. And the Nick Kage thing didn't work for me at all. Aside from the whole "Kage is stupid!" jokes, which get really old really fast even when Mike & co. do them, the times when they went to Kage felt lazy. "We can't think of any thing to riff in the movie, so we'll just have Kage say something stupid." It's okay when the guys go to Dis or Chad occasionally, but this was happening every 5-10 minutes. It felt like a continual cutaway to Conway Twitty.
Easily my least favorite Rifftrax Presents so far.
