Well the lack of response to this thread would make me suggest changing the title to The band "The Jam" thread.

moe. sounds like Phish jr to me... so does Bisco to a large extent and UM somewhat too... then there's all those other no-name jam bands sprouting up who's guitar players use tones like Trey's and etc...  I don't really like Phish for the most part either though so....


overall hate jam bands but like and have seen plenty of bands considered jam bands (and been to both Bonnaroo and All Good twice)....  Les Claypool/Primus, Gov't Mule, Allman Brothers, Bob Weir/DSO/P&F depending on line-up, Benevento/Russo Duo, almost anything Skerik/Mike Dillon related, Galactic.... etc....


Jam Band as a genre/music label though to me is about as useful as Grunge
