So Telltale just got hit with a class action lawsuit.

At first I thought ‘aww they can’t get a break’, but then I read it’s because they abruptly fired everyone without notice or severence which is against California law.  Even though I really like Telltale, you have to respect workers rights. That’s a lot of families that are suddenly without any sort of income.

Yeah, I ADORE Telltale, but I'm pretty sure they laid off everything I adore about it.

The amount of bullshit it heaped on it's dev teams has made me lose all the respect I ever had for Telltale. Overworking, underpaying, and now just laying everyone off without anything? Yeah, fuck them.

In happier news, Cyan finally has a prototype of the Myst box set/book from their latest kickstarter, and I'm sooooooo happy that I ordered one.  This isn't the final version, but it looks even better than I thought it would.  Going to immediately take the games out and use it to store precious items, or maybe other worlds.

I don't know how interesting this piece of news is for everyone else, but frankly I'm pretty stoked. Nintendo is apparently porting Kirby's Epic Yarn(From the Wii) to the 3DS in 2019. That's a game I'd pre-order. Now if ONLY they could somehow port Super Mario Galaxy to the 3DS...

I'd love an HD port of both Super Mario Galaxies for the Nintendo Switch!

I've never understood Nintendos reluctance to port all of the older Mario games to their new systems. Whenever they have done it, they always are some of their biggest sellers. Sunshine, the 2 Galazy games, and even a HD Mario 64 would all sell big.

Nintendo has been way more into porting their old games recently. They're porting New Super Mario Bros U and re-re-porting Wind Waker. I feel like Galaxy and (I hope) Sunshine ports aren't far off.

Nintendo's Dragalia Lost is out on mobile. I'm having fun with it. Don't know if it will hold my attention for more than a few days, but it's a step above most mobile RPGs.
