IGN was predicting Grey, but this is interesting.

I'm not SUPER interested in the B&W sequels because right now I have over 500 Pokemon on my Pokemon Black card and it took me nearly a year to get this far. Unless they start implementing some sort of Pokedex Import system where you get to keep your Pokedex (Without getting the Pokemon) , this is gonna be a hard sell for me.

I haven't gotten a Pokemon game since Diamond because I'm still nowhere near done with all there is in that game. I'm starting to feel left behind.  :(

Quantic Dream (Makers of Heavy Rain and Indigo Prophecy/Farenheit) released this (It's probably safe for work, but there's a lot of digital flesh):

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/j-pF56-ZYkY?version=3&amp;amp;hl=en_US" target="_blank" class="new_win">http://www.youtube.com/v/j-pF56-ZYkY?version=3&amp;amp;hl=en_US</a>

I think they've stepped on juuuust this side of the uncanny valley. Realistic and not quite creepy. This is just them showing what they can do. It's not (necessarily) connected to their next game. I'd love to see what they could do if they went with this premise, though.

EDIT TO ADD: And BTW, that is not pre-rendered cut scene there. If it were a game, this would be in-game graphics running on the PS3.

I've always liked the look of Quantric Dreams' games, but damn, if the writing isn't utterly awful.  And they'd do well to get actual native English speakers in, too.

EA's apparently trademarked "Full Contact Bingo."

As long as it's not a Facebook game, I'm in.

Still trying to get through Heavy Rain, and while it seems good, I'd have to agree about the dialogue being a li--JASON!  JAY-SON!   ;D

16 hours left and the Double Fine Kickstarter is almost at 3 million.  $2,960,130 at the time of writing.  If you haven't donated yet, now's your last chance.   They have new rewards too.  The T Shirt was too enticing for me, I had to change my donation to get it.  Help us get a nice round 3 million for the newspapers.

I liked Heavy Rain as I played, but enjoy the ride while you can. I found zero replay value. After you see the ending you'll never get yourself to go through all the showering and helicopter rides in the yard and pizza microwaving again.

Speaking of Kickstarter...

Inspired by DoubleFine's campaign, Brian Fargo (Formerly of Interplay) has announced a campaign to get a sequel to an old time CRPG- Wasteland. For those not in the know, Wasteland was a post-apocalypse RPG that later inspired the Fallout series. And it's one of the best RPGs of all time. No fooling. The kickstarter page is here:

Seriously, it was a hell of a game and this might be the only way to ever see a sequel.

The Old Republic Offers Free Weekend

Apparently, from midnight March 15 to 2am March 19, TOR will be offering free access to try it out. With a few restrictions, of course.

My reaction: Why?!!!! Couldn't they have done this on a weekend when I won't be away from home? Damn the luck . . .

Well, two days into the project and it hit its goal. Woot. I've been waiting 20 years for a sequel to this...

Well the rumor going around is that a lot of Bioware fans have canceled their account in protest over the Mass Effect 3 ending so they are trying to get new people signed up.  This may sound a bit pie in the sky but already GS is reporting that they have so many used copies of ME3 that they lowered the price to $43 and EA's stock has taken a 5% hit so it could be true.
Fave Rifftrax:The Room Fave MST3K:Manos
Fave DW story of last year:TAP/TRF.  Fave classic series story:Inferno
Fave film of 2011:Tie The Muppets/Tintin
Fave iRiff group:One wall cinema
Fave movie:Citizen Kane.
Still stuck on dial up.
Ignore me or report me.

Really?  Good news for me!  I haven't bought it yet and now I'm curious to see how it ends. I've been ignoring those threads for spoilers but I can't imagine what would make it that bad for people to get angry.

I suspect that the number of Bioware fans playing SWTOR are dwarfed by the number of people playing who are Star Wars fans and that any such protest would be just mere background noise against the general subscription rate. (Which 5 days ago was around 1.7 million.)
