Lots of cool looking games in the Indie World presentation. Happy Game is the one that most piques my interest. I love Amanita games, and I shudder to think of how it turns out when their usual cheerful surrealism turns into surreal horror.

Cyberpunk news just keeps getting "better".

Due to what is presumed to be an oversight when compiling the game, the executable doesn't recognize logical cores on AMD CPUs. This can be fixed by using a hex editor to change the .exe file.

Search for:  75 30 33 C9 B8 01 00 00 00 0F A2 8B C8 C1 F9 08

Change to:  EB 30 33 C9 B8 01 00 00 00 0F A2 8B C8 C1 F9 08

This works for ver 1.04. CDPR hasn't acknowledged this yet, but I can't believe they haven't heard about it by now. Presumably it will be fixed by 1.05.

I have a Ryzen 5 3600 and I can personally confirm that this does work.

I just started a new game trying out the beach farm, not happy that sprinklers don't work in the soil around the house, I haven't cleared very much yet so haven't found if there are areas of land where sprinklers work.

There is a patch of normal soil on the beach farm, about 20 x 10 squares, and you can put sprinklers there.
It does start out with a lot of hardwood over it (covering probably 1/5 of the squares), so you can't fully farm it until you upgrade your axe.
