Before viewing trailer: I hope it's not as survival-dependent as the Wii U version and more forgiving for the player, because the Wii U version was hella hard and not so much fun to play. Hopefully Nintendo will have learned their lesson and made it less pressure based and more like the free and open Pikmin 2.

After watching trailer: Well, that didn't answer my question. Hopefully Nintendo will spill more info about this, because I'm hoping for an easier mode similar to Funky Mode in the Switch version of Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze.

I never finished this one, despite absolutely loving the game, as the last level was a motherfucker.

Disco Elysium is being made into a TV series

Variety has reported that dj2 Entertainment has sealed a deal with developers ZA/UM to expand Disco Elysium into “other media and new audiences”. There’s no writer or streaming service attached as of yet, although the entertainment company is reportedly in talks with writers now before pitching it to services next year.

“’Disco Elysium’ is a phenomenal property with an expansive world and unlimited potential,” dj2 CEO Dmitri M. Johnson said. “The dj2 team is truly thrilled about this extraordinary opportunity to be part of it all.”

I'm very interested to see where this goes. Although the game itself takes place entirely within a few square blocks, the game world is quite elaborate, with a fully realized history and conflicting cultures. There's already a book based in this world, that's currently only available in Estonian, but is being translated. The game has won awards for its fantastic writing, which I can personally attest to. It's also what my current avatar is from

 First I heard of the new Microsoft Flight Simulator was last week, it's releasing tomorrow.  Watched a bunch of videos over the weekend and preordered it today.  Looks like this will be a very good flight sim, supposed to do real air flow calculations for thousands of points on the aircraft, so the plane should react more like a real one instead of a point in space.

 Went digging in the basement and found my old Microsoft Precision Pro joystick and was kind of amazed that Windows 10 recognized it and all the axis and buttons still work properly.
