Sims 4 in Steam? I wonder if it's going to launch FROM Steam or if it's going to be like Ubisoft where Steam just launches their launcher, which launches the game.

Here's hoping they get some major price reductions during the big sales. I have like- none expansions for Sims 4, and I'm not paying EA prices to get them all.

Squadrons looks like it could be a good chunk of fun.  Have some friends that are also interested so we might team up.  I like that its all in-cockpit, and there doesn't seem to be any 3rd person save the cinematics.

So its a fast paced version of how my inflated memory wants to picture the old X-Wing and Tie Fighter games before I go back and try and play them and realize the graphics were rendered tinker toys and cardboard with impossible controls?

Ok. Officially very excited. Power management is a big part of the game. HOTAS is supported. He didn’t even shoot down TrackIR support. The flight model also is divorced from reality and based on the cannon movies, so they were free to make it feel fun.  But he makes it sound fairly technical, and some thought will have to be put into power management to perform certain maneuvers. There’s a lot of technical stuff in this interview, and I’m excited about all of it.

Everyone convinced themselves it'd be a sinnoh remake announcement and got mad when it didn't happen. Like, I'm not hyped about this either, but people are annoyed for stupid reasons.

Yeah, the huge buildup of speculation followed by the disappointment of, "Oh. It's just a mobile game" is something you'd think gamers, especially Pokémon gamers, would be used to by now. It was WAY too early for a remake announcement. Nintendo's usually pretty good at waiting until everyone's juuuust about done with the last game before they announce the next one.
