I skipped the PS4, but after all the games I missed out on, I may just have to side with Sony as my Nintendo-supplement this gen.

What's backwards comparability looking like? Will I get to play all the games I missed last gen?

Full backwards compat for X-Box.
PS5- they are testing the compatibility with PS4 games.

PC Gaming Show-

With no E3, stuff's coming out at random, show wise. Today's the PC show. Late start due to folks not listening when I say "I have to leave. Now."

*Liberated- Superhero game  set in a comic book

*First up- Valheim- a survival game with Vikings doing Viking stuff
*Ooblets- still looking like a cute game

*Persona 4 Golden! You never saw it coming! Out right now on Steam.
*In Sound Mind- psychological horror
*Airborne Kingdom- like it sounds
*Ultrakill! More metal than Doom!
*Gloomwood- it's like Thief.
*Humankind- the civ-type game from the Endless Space studio. More like History of the World compared to Civ, for boardgame folks.
*Icarus- survival on an alien world. Looks like Day Z crossed with Minecraft. Drop to a world. If you can't make it back to your ship in time- game over. Your character is gone.
*Evil Genius 2- Base builder strategy game where you're a bond-type bad guy out to control the world.
*Godfall- from Gearbox. Melee based game where you're fighting bad guys
*Prodeus- FPS from Humble
*Fae Tactics- looks very Final Fantasy Tactics-y

*Kane appears to promote the Command and Conquer remaster
*Blankos-It's a third person game where you're kinda a Pop figure running around doing stuff

*Total War: Troy- Free on the Epic Store day 1. Day 2? Pay up

*Rogue Lords- Tactical Roguelike set in Hell

*Gasp! An MMORPG! New World, from Amazon- Beta starts July 23
*Twin Mirror, from the Life is Strange folks. Epic release
*Metal Hell Singer- a rhythm FPS- blast demons in time! Like a FPS Crypt of the Necrodancer. Shoot to the beat. I don't recognize any of the bands mentioned
*Felicia Day in The Amulet of Chaos- a tactical RPG. And I heard 3-ish Critical Role folks in there
*Red Sails- sail across a desert rescuing people
*Surgeon Simulator 2- It looks "whackier" than the first.
*Last Campfire- you're a lost ember, trying to return home
*New stuff for Escape from Tarkov
*Outlast Trials- set in the Cold War, you and others have to survive. It's like the other Outlast games

Before the show, Nintendo announced Pokemon Snap is coming back for the Switch.
