Doom Eternal is getting review bombed over Denuvo anti-cheathttps://www.pcgamesn.com/doom-eternal/denuvo-review-bombThe latest update to DOOM:Eternal includes a mandatory installation of Denuvo anti-cheat software that literally nobody wanted, except Bethesda. It gives them Kernel level access to your system, and has already been caught sending information to Amazon servers. This is spyware, plain and simple, and people are not happy about it. It seems extraordinarily suspect that this was added in now, rather than at launch, now that everyone who bought the game at launch can no longer refund it.
Good job Bethesda, you almost managed to release a game without any major ****-ups.
I haven't noticed any changes in performance, but many people on the Steam forums are saying otherwise.
