I don't think Pop'n Twinbee ever saw a US release, but based on its predecessor, I'm expecting some light and breezy bullet hell. I remember renting Shadow of the Ninja as a kid and loving it, but that's all I remember. Never tried the boat and tennis games, but I'll give them a try for free.

I continue to love the fact that they're not just loading the service with AAA titles everyone has played. I like that there are still things to discover in the 8- and 16- bit eras.

I've heard of Pop'n Twinbee, but not the others. And it's saying a lot that I don't know them, considering my near encyclopedic knowledge of classic video gaming.

I feel somewhat like a fossil, and somewhat relevant again because Final Fantasy VII was THE game I loved to death and still do now. I love everything about it, the magic system, the characters, the music, the design... Final Fantasy VII was actually the last game in the core series that I made a genuine emotional connection with.

Yeah, same here. 5,6 and 7 was when FF peaked. I liked 8 for it's originality, and 9 for its nostalgia, but 7 was the last FF I ever finished more than once, so that should tell you something. And, if the remake ever comes to PC, I'll play that too.

Now, if only I could figure out how to get Square to remake SaGa Frontier. If they actually finished everything as it was originally planned, it would be phenomenal.

I did play Saga frontier a LONG time ago and I did finish it with one character but... never could find the time to finish it with all the characters. There was a second one as well as I recall. I'd love for Square to remaster the Bushido Blade games!

I finished SaGa Frontier with every character. Twice :scared: I also have the Japanese guide, though I haven't been able to find it in years. One quest, Fuse's, was cut entirely. Some others, like Blue and Lute, are severely truncated. If you play all of them, it's clear to see that they started with Red and T260G. They have the most work put into them. Emelia, Asellus and Riki are decent. But the game as a whole has some fantastic mechanics. I loved the four different species. They play like their from different games altogether.

If you ever played, or know of, Romancing SaGa: Minstrel Song, that was a remake of Romancing SaGa 1, but with everything actually finished. I would like to see SaGa Frontier receive the same treatment.

My son's just discovered Animal Crossing and it's really helping him with his reading. I'm pretty sure this one's in our future.

I am super hyped for being able to reshape the terrain in Animal Crossing.  And that Amiibos will work, too.

Interesting. Record of Lodoss War was one of my first anime, way back when. I'll have to check this out, just for the nostalgia.

Uhhhggg sooo excited.  Loved Baldur's gate.  Loovveed Divinity Original Sin 1 and 2.  Play D&D about once a month.  This looks fantastic.

And according to this article, you will actually make important dice rolls instead of them all being behind the scenes.  And failing a roll but not dying is going to be a big part of the game.  I love that.

So Castlevania: Symphony of the Night is out on mobile.  It’s based on the PSP version.
