Slay the Spire just added a fourth character, the Watcher. You have to opt into the beta version to use her, and a bunch of her artwork is missing. But she's totally playable.

How is she?  I’m going to wait for the switch patch to test her out.

Also, Japan is getting a physical edition, so if you're big on that kind of thing you can import one and play in English.

She's a stance change character. For example, in Wrath stance she does and takes double damage. There are several cards that either put you into or take you out of stances. There are also a few new card mechanics unique to her. Cards with "Retain" stay in your hand until you use them. This can be a double edged sword. Cards with "Scry X" let you see the next X cards in your draw pile and discard any you don't want.

I think she needs to be buffed slightly. She has the least HP at 65, and she goes down really easily if you don't get the cards you need when you need them. But I guess that's what Scry is for.

Another classic series I've never played and am intrigued by...

It was one of the first JRPGs, so it's very meat and potatoes, but it's still some of the best meat and potatoes ever served up. It's not much for story, but if you enjoy the mechanics of RPGs, it's a lot of fun.

I would definitely skip DQ1. It is a total grind fest. The series didn't actually get good until DQ3, which I definitely do recommend. Only problem with 3 is that it has a major callback to the first game that you won't get if you haven't played it. And by major I mean the entire last quarter or so.

Please let Indivisible be good. Valkyrie Profile is one of my all time favorite games, and I was also a big fan of Skullgirls.

I've started playing DQ1 (I have friends who remember it being brought over to the US as Dragon Warrior) and I'm enjoying it so far! It is a grindfest but it's an enjoyable and rewarding grindfest. In those aspects, it definitely still holds up!

A certain cowboy game sequel from Rockstar is coming to PC on November 5th. On Rockstar's launcher initially, on Steam in December.

So the Resident Evil 2 remake and Devil May Cry 5 did so well, Capcom is considering reviving some of their dormant series.

I hope they go the extra mile and remake Resident Evil 3 and also include all the outfits for Jill from the Dreamcast exclusive version.
