Who else here has an Xbox one? I'm asking because a few days ago while I was playing Dead or Alive 6 suddenly an ad popped up telling me to join Xbox live Gold. I was like... what? Now, I admit it might have just been a fluke or maybe I pushed the home button accidentally or something, so I contacted Xbox customer support. I asked for an explanation and what they told me was unsatisfactory. When I pay full price for the console, the games, I should never be seeing ads. I mean that sounds like the kind of thing I would see on a mobile or tablet device when I'm playing the free version of Plants vs Zombies or something. Is anyone else seeing ads pop up during their gameplay on Xbox one or am I just crazy?

So they remastered the cut scenes?  Hmm. Always feels weird when they don’t show gameplay for a re release.

Whew. Looks like it was just one of those Ads Sony likes to do where they just don't MENTION the other versions.

That's the thing, when I talked to the CSR in online chat they kind of danced around the issue, pretending it wasn't a problem and saying things like "Xbox live gold guarantees you get the best out of your xbox one!". Thankfully I haven't had another issue like that since then so maybe it was a fluke.

Nintendo's curation for the NES emulator on the Switch has been extremely impressive. It's just a perfect blend of deep cuts and greatest hits to keep me satisfied.

Agreed. It's a nice value for $20 a year and I like that we get little cult favorites like Star Tropics and River City Ransom along with the greats.
