That’s really weird news. Can’t really get excited about it if I can’t play it. And no, I’m not buying whatever that is. Plus hiring a bunch of people who haven’t made games in a really long time doesn’t sound like best idea. Not the worst idea either. But if they straight up made a sequel to Earth Worm Jim that made no changes to the formula I probably wouldn’t be interested.

Also, preordered my new Index controllers for my VR headset. Pretty excited about that. They are way too expensive for what they are, but oh well.

Looks like it will be about $1000 if starting from scratch, with the new headset, new controllers, and new lighthouses.  Just watched tested do a review on the new stuff, sounds exciting, 120Hz frame rate, LCD display with less screen door effect, etc.  This summer or fall I might get into VR....

I had never even heard of Vs. Excitebike or Clu Clu Land until today.  Clu Clu Land's mechanics look really interesting, I can't wait to give it a go.

The voiceover acting didn't fill me with much confidence. It's that stereotypical anime kind of voice acting that will make it IMPOSSIBLE for me take any of the characters seriously.

I've NEVER thought a remake of Final Fantasy VII was a good idea, and the inclusion of voice acting was a BIG part of that, but fans just would not stop screaming for it. And they're gonna get the emo, flanderized version of FFVII that is nothing like how the original game really was, so the story and tone will clash horribly.

So I guess video gaming is gonna have it's Episode I moment. If there's one thing all fandoms have in common, it's their total and utter inability to know when to say when.

But this time instead of feeling the pain with them, I'll be on the sidelines laughing.

I only know one thing... I'm going to have to get a PS4(when it comes out) because my love for Final Fantasy VII is so great I can't possibly pass up playing this.
