I've never played a Castlevania game, so the collection is looking pretty tempting to me!

Best games in the series are Symphony of the Night, Super Castlevania IV, Dawn of Sorrow, Portrait of Ruin, and Bloodlines. Unfortunately because of certain technical limitations, Dawn of Sorrow and Portrait of Ruin can probably never be ported to another system.

Firmament (the new game from Cyan, creators of Myst) is at 92% with two days left on its Kickstarter. Looks like it might just make it. I really hope it does. And I hope they learned from their last Kickstarter where they set their first goal too low, and then ended up only just making the goal, and eventually not being able to make the game with the scope they wanted. Pretty sure they asked for more up front this time.

Firmament (the new game from Cyan, creators of Myst) is at 92% with two days left on its Kickstarter. Looks like it might just make it. I really hope it does. And I hope they learned from their last Kickstarter where they set their first goal too low, and then ended up only just making the goal, and eventually not being able to make the game with the scope they wanted. Pretty sure they asked for more up front this time.

It just made it with 1 day to go.  Looking forward to playing it.

Oh, and even though the stretch goals haven't been met they announced they are committing to Mac and PS4, so those folks should go ahead and pledge to get the exclusive stuff.

I only recently discovered that the first Persona Q was a mashup with Etrian Odyssey. Got it for my Birthday and it's a fantastic one at that. I'm on board for this sequel.

Valve’s new VR headset is available for pre order tomorrow, which doesn’t excite me because I already have one that’s good enough. BUT, the controllers, which are compatible with my headset, also go on pre-order, and they are a big step up from my current ones. They do basically what the Oculus controllers have been doing for a while now with the sensing of individual fingers and grabbing, but hopefully do it a little bit better. We’ll see. Even if they aren’t great they are most likely going to be a step up from my current controllers, so I’ll be pre-ordering them tomorrow.
