I'm honestly considering trading in my 2DS XL one of these days, mostly because the games coming out for it are now down to a trickle. I hate to say it but I think the Switch has replaced both the Wii U and the 3DS. I doubt you'd ever find somebody at the company to admit it for now, but I think that's true.

If these rumours about the two new Switches are true (and I think they are) that will probably be the official end of 3DS when they are announced.

If it really comes with Castlevania Bloodlines then I'd definitely consider buying it.

So Risk of Rain 2 was released a couple days ago (in early access) to no fanfare whatsoever. I knew it was in development, but I had no idea it had been released until I saw a friend playing it on Steam. If you're not familiar with RoR, you were on a cargo ship that crashed on an alien planet, spewing cargo (and escape pods) all over the surface. You have to fight your way back to the ship, using whatever stuff you find from the ship along the way.

Risk of Rain 2 is basically RoR, but in 3D. This poses a bit of a problem because it means you can no longer see all around you. I found myself getting blind sided a lot. I haven't had time to play any significant amount of it, but I played 150 hours of RoR, so we'll see.

Nice but it would have been good if they could have put the 90s Jojo's Bizarre Adventure game on their, which really lived up to the source material and its title.
