According to Max Shaefer, Torchlight 2 should be out by Thanksgiving; and it will be definitely priced at a mere $19.99 and DRM free.

That's damn fast. And if you're annoyed at Blizz for Diablo III, well, here you go. A year earlier, $40 less and mod-friendly. And there will probably be a retail release for the internet impaired.

3DS expansion slide pad... I haven't found the need for something like this, but apparently the creators of Monster Hunter have. Spoilered for size.

Wonder how wide-spread Nintendo expects that to be used.  Monster Hunter is a massive force in Japan, so I would not put it past them to make it just for MH, but then I wonder if we should just expect to see the 2nd analog pad on the 3DS lite.

Next month's Dead Rising 2 : Off the Record will indeed be available on the PC. I enjoyed playing DR2 with a mouse and keyboard and hard drive much, much more than I did with the consoles, so this is welcome news for me.

Okay, Steam's DotD is a game called Lucid, which is a casual matching game. It looks interesting, but I went looking for a demo and so I found the developer's website:

They're indie developers.  I think that means everything they have to do is ironic.  It's a pretty cool recreation of 1998's internet though.

ive played hundreds of games and psychonauts is my favorite and brutal legend was awesome. cant wait to see this.
Edit : one of my favorites anyone, my other favorite just came to mind. also just got Rage, pretty good game so far.

Speaking of Double Fine- Costume Quest is now available for PC via Steam and presumably other download services soon. If you didn't play it on PSN or XBL, you might want to pick it up. It's pretty good.
