I forget if it was Rogue Squadron or Shadows of the Empire that had a mode with MST3k style commentary, including silhouettes, could be added to the game on subsequent playthroughs. Me? I'll be buying Rebellion, which was flawed but still fun.

Actually, unless they also did it for Rogue Squadron, the MST3K mode is originally from Rebel Assault II.  Still have it, but it's been awhile since I've seen it.  One of the best Easter Eggs in game history.  At least in RA2's mode, they disable the voice acting and put up silly subtitles, while C3P0, Darth Vader, and R2-D2 sit in front of the action.  Through EVERY...SINGLE...CUTSCENE.  And it's all hilarious.

"Look, sir!  I have new boots!"
*Radio static* "Did you..." *static* "Hear the one..." *static* "Agnosic, Dyslexic Insomniac?" *static*
"Ok, son, listen to me.  I'm the old guy."

Very few people can make fun of their own product.  Even fewer can make it more fun than the original game.

EDIT: In fact, the code to enable it is OVRES.  Think about it.

you mean this ?

You can try out "The Sims 4" for 48 hours on Origin.  Still too expensive for me.   ::)

I just watched Jim Sterling playing an early build of Darkest Dungeon and I've fell completely in love with this game. It's an RPG with mechanics that closely resemble the The Stick of Truth but the style of it is amazing in my opinion.

I was supposed to be playing that yesterday because I was a kickstarter backer but something messed up with my humble bundle steam redemption and it's not showing up in my library. Grumble grumble.

I've decided that I'm breaking my early access rule for it. I just have to play it.

I wouldn't consider Monty to be a gamer, more of an animator, but I am saddened to hear of his passing.

NCSoft, who are currently trying to keep from getting bought out by Nexon (shudder), posted their earnings reports today. Guild Wars 2 and Aion are making modest profits. Wildstar though? It's down to $5 million in revenue during the last quarter. That's roughly where City of Heroes was when NC pulled the plug on it. If you like wandering around on Nexus, you might want to head there soon.

If you go to sesamestreet.org and enter the Konami code, you can play a Cookie Monster clone of Pac-Man.

EA seeking help identifying Sims 3 patch issues:

http://simsvip.com/2015/02/16/ea-seeking-help-identifying-sims-3-patch-issues/

Really EA? You're asking for this NOW when you should've done it A LONG FUCKING TIME AGO??????

I've always used the patch downloader from ModTheSims so no patch issues ever for me.  I didn't (and still don't) trust the launcher.

Sweet! Now I can relive all those nightmares of seeing the ball make a 90 degree turn in the middle of the playfield and head straight for an out lane :speechless: Pat Lawlor has a knack for designing tables that are both fantastic and brutal at the same time.

I love Pinball Arcade, but they really should have included complete coin door function access. Visual Pinball does this, so why not PA? Sometimes I like to give myself 5 or 6 balls, just so I can see everything the game has to offer.

Interesting... I only really love the second one though.
