This is obviously a misspelling of "car crashes". What on earth? It's in English, how could they have gotten this wrong?

uhm... from the description page: And when you think of the great hotbeds of car racing, such as the American South and Further Down In the American South, no doubt third on your list would be Ireland.

I think it's referring to Cork, Ireland, although the short takes place in a bunch of locales around the world.

Oh, and Irish Sweep is made from people!

Oh, it's a CITY in Ireland.  My Americacentric geography knowledge really sucks.   :-[
