Die, Monster, Die!

There you go!

Question #6: Which Italian director helmed what is often regarded as the first giallo film?

-Rude

Mario Bava.

Is the movie in the puzzle something from a $1 DVD?  Or a big-budget film?  I know I know that costume and it's killing me.

Remember, all the previous answers are actually hints: Reptilicus, Vampires, Argos, The Tall Man, Die Monster, Die!... and Mario Bava.
Good luck!

Terrore Nello Spazio
Warning - Possible Spoilers: Planet Of The Vampires is a 1965 Italian science fiction/horror film based on a short story by Renato Pestriniero titled "One Night of 21 Hours." The story follows the horrific experiences of the crew members of two giant spaceships that have crash landed on a forbidding, unexplored planet. The disembodied inhabitants of the world possess the bodies of the crew who died during the crash, and use the animated corpses to stalk and kill the remaining survivors.

Bonus points to anyone who can explain how each of the previous answers relate to Planet Of The Vampires!

Congrats PSCD!

I can do another one of these later tonight if you guys had fun. Let me know if you have any suggestions... more puzzle pieces, less puzzle pieces, more questions, harder questions, a limit on how many answers someone can submit in a row, etc.

I could also automatically post the relevance of each answer at the end of every game, unless you're interested in actually making that part of the game as well. Whatever floats yer' boat...

Impressive! Those are all correct...

Although it was Barry Sullivan, who starred as Captain Mark Markary in Planet Of The Vampires. And when AIP originally released the film to theaters in 1965, it was part of a double bill that also featured Die Monster, Die!

So, what do Supergirl and a band aid have in common....

EDIT: The pic isn't from Lawnmower Man 2: Beyond Cyberspace, is it?
