Sorry for the inactivity! We just wanted to remind you that Riff Raff Theater is still around, and we've got ONE more live show to do before we start getting our riffs recorded and released without distraction.
It's Elektra! Jennifer Garner's contractually obligated "sequel" to Daredevil! When she's miraculously brought back to life by the guy who played Zod, she leaves her old movie behind (and all its characters - not so much as a mention here), dons the classic red, and goes right back to killing people for money (wait, what?) Cringe at men lathered in mascara! Facepalm at how easily she dispatches hordes of ninja using only a household appliance! Laugh at the lame attempts to hide the fact that Garner is massively, gloriously pregnant!
I remember riffing this when I saw it in the theater. It'll be great.
We're still in talks, but it's looking like the live show will be in early September (either September 10 or 11, I'll tell you the time for sure) at the Englert Theater in Iowa City. Dave "Danuuc" Atwater will be joined by Brian Tanner and Dennis Lambing, who have helped out behind the scenes from the beginning. Todd is helping behind the scenes and will be MC'ing at the live show.
