Oh, wow. I remember seeing this one as a kid on TV in the early '70s, and it scared me. I recall a scene where the housekeeper goes out to the well for water, and is killed by the monsters.

This would be a good one.  I especially love how they retcon the object of their search halfway through the movie.  I haven't seen it in years so I can remember if they start out looking for Roman treasure and then switch to stolen Nazi treasure or vice versa.  To be fair though that could be a dubbing issue.

A dubbing issue is still a good reason for it to be riffed!
