To hell mit you.
« on: July 10, 2009, 04:38:57 PM »
We had a fantastic and thoroughly enjoyable time making this riff.  :rimshot:

I will never be able to get the endless scenes of g-force ripple-faced people zooming down metal tubes out of my mind.  And the running.  So much running.  Why?  Oh god, why so much running?  Oh, that's right, it's the name of the movie.  Well, at least their were some horrifically awful punny one-liners now and then to magnify the pain.

But really it was fun and we are honored to be here at Rifftrax and hope to do many more riffs.  We're already working on our next one with a different very special guest.

Huzzah,
Aaron

I'm still trying to figure out how everyone else road the g-force tubes fine, but Richard Dawson's somehow got airborn and his metal framed ride blew up like a gallon of nitro.

This was a very funny Rifftrax Presents.

I'd been kinda wondering that myself since I was a kid.  I think the reason is that when the runners went down the tubes, there were nets at the end that stopped them, but by the time Killian rode down, the nets were gone.

Yeah, the nets (snow fences, apparently) must be set up before the start of a new show, and taken down when the runners get out of the sleds.

Did I miss it, or was there no reference to the Stephen King (Richard Bachman) short story this is based on named after?

Loved this one. I elo'eled untill I roffled.

Yeah, anyway, looking forward to your next Rifftrax Presents. Incendentally, I remember this movie being a lot less stupid. Then again, I was 10.

Yeah, I was the same way about Last Action Hero. Saw it again a couple years ago and couldn't believe how dumb it was. And not the fun kind of dumb that Predator or Commando is . . . just plain dumb. On a positive note, the soundtrack is still good, though.

Killed it!

This is a high quality riff of a high laughable movie!

This felt like an old school mid level MST episode (which is pretty darn funny to me!)

Not a classic but something I consider to be very enjoyable and will gladly go back to in the future.
