We discuss favorite shows and such, but not our favorite episodes (except our MST favorites). So what are your favorite episodes of your favorite shows? I'll make it easier: list your absolute favorite TV shows, then list your #1 episode(s) from that show. Then we can compare notes and see if we like the same episodes, eh?

Here's mine, in no particular order (I love lots of shows):

ANIMANIACS--- "THe Animaniacs 65th Anniversary Special" and "Hello Nice Warners"

PINKY AND THE BRAIN--- 4 way tie: "You Said a Mouseful," "Broadway Malady," "Brain Drained," and "Brainy the Pooh"

MARY TYLER MOORE--- "Two Wrongs Don't Make a Writer" and "Enter Rhoda's Parents"

BOB NEWHART SHOW--- "Over the River and Through the Woods"

TWILIGHT ZONE (original)--- "Spur of the Moment"

MONK--- "Mr Monk's Biggest Fan" and "Mr Monk and the Astronaut"

CAROL BURNETT SHOW ---this I only know in sketches, but the best sketches are the Mr Tudball sketches, the Norma Desmond sketches, F. Lee Bunny, Daffy Duck, and the POW WWII one with Tim Conway's Hitler Puppet

MUPPET SHOW--- with Carol Burnett

MASH--- the one in real time, whose name I can't remember, but it has something to do with time, and the one that takes place over a year, but I forget what that's called, too

MONTY PYTHON'S FLYING CIRCUS-- this one I also know better in sketches, and my favorite sketch is either The Money Programme, Face the Press, or one of The Spanish inquisition

And of course, MST3K--- The Pumaman

I'll have to think for a while before I can determine my very favorite episodes of my favorite shows, but off the top of my head I can name two episodes of shows that always make me cry, or at least misty-eyed: Quantum Leap's "MIA" and Futurama's "Jurassic Bark" (with "Luck of the Fryrish" being a close second).

Spam (Gumby Flower Arranging and the obvious one), Royal Episode 13 (How to Feed a Goldfish and Lifeboat Cannibalism/Undertaker sketch)

Since I'm currenly watching Firefly, I muse say my fave episode of that show is Jaynestown. I love Jayne. Canton is my heart and he is the hero of Canton

My favorite is from BLACKADDER III---the one with the Duke of Wellington (the last one) called Duel and Duality.

ANd I too love that lifeboat sketch. Monty Python is too hard to narrow down, for me anyway.
