Good lord. The Saints D did pretty much everything they could to hand that win over but the Skins just wouldn't take it.

Fun game to watch. The Saints have a real knack for second-half comebacks...that is when they even need to!

I think the replay booth did the Saints a solid on that "fumble" call, but they took advantage and won.

Agreed.

And only because it would eclipse my '72 Fins acheivement - second best would be that with the Saints pictured.

Otherwise, I'd be 100% behind The Team Formerly Known As "The Ain'ts".

Absolutely disgusting.  I can't even think of anything ot say.

Jesus Christ on a raft, the CARDINALS. Didn't we kick the shit out of them last year?  Now they return the favor.  On the bright side, maybe that means we make the Super Bowl too.
Correction: the coat hanger should be upside down.

The Cards looked like world-beaters!

I was starting to think it would never happen, but sure enough, Farve was finally up to his old tricks.

Just a side note.

If you've ever seen a Broncos game in the middle of winter, the cameras will invariably pan over to Tim McKernan, a Broncos fan known as "The Barrel Man" who attended every home game dressed only in a barrel, like so:

He passed away on Saturday.

I've noticed that over the years the barrel around him seemed to get tighter and tighter.    Out of respect for, what is probably a very nice man and his family, I won't ask if they had an open or closed barrel ceramony......

I'd heard just the opposite....  You mean we're only mostly dead?

"I feel happy....I feel happy...."

He passed away on Saturday.
My condolences to his family.   :(

Although I still say it's fans like these that I call the Trekkies of Pro Sports....only they get 1/1000th of the disdain from the public.
