I heart Janet and Cole.

Soon..soon. How does it rank next to Dirty Dancing, Courtney? Just a couple more hours.

Dirty Dancing is in my top three, so that's a really high bar, but this is definitely great.  Much like the actual movie (which is seriously and unironically one of my favorite movies) the riff really picks up when Whoopi enters the picture.  The best moments are when they get random and go off on tangents ("you see, the scene is long"), AND it gets a million extra points for insulting Black Dahlia which is hands down the worst movie I've ever seen (you're welcome, Manos and The Room).  The Demi jokes are golden.

I just bought it in support of the two.  I suppose I'll have to ask my mother for her DVD copy of the movie.   :)

Wholeheartedly agree. I'd never fallen asleep in the middle of a movie until I watched that one. It had some good moments but holy crap was it boring.

See, I can't even think of what good moments you could be talking about.  I've seriously never been so angry watching a movie.  I feel toward Black Dahlia the same feelings Roger Ebert has toward North. Hate hate hate.

I'll just say that when a murder actually happened the movie felt really scary and thrilling, but the rest was filler.

Anyways, back to your Favorite Lines thread...

The biggest problem I had with the movie is that the book is so good.  So much wasted potential.

I'll give a thumbs up to the line about wanting Supertramp to get back together.

(there are a lot of other good lines, IMO, but I started watching this at 1am last night, so my memories of it are rather hazy...)

Anything Janet says with that dumb guy voice was a hoot and a half. Very funny trax, I liked it better than their first, and I thought that was good.

Janet: "See a penny pick it up, if it floats towards you run like fu-."
Cole: "Janet!"

Cole: "God, whats a guy got to do to get an Otter Pop around here?"

Janet: "Good, now awkwardly open your mouth for no reason. Good, and cue song were already sick of."
*background music* "Ohhhh my love, my darling."
Janet: "Goooood."

Cole: "Yes! I knew we'd find some shirts back here."

Janet: "Ok, now stand up. I want to give you a better angle to smell my bangs."
Cole: "Pantene."

Also, all the ripping on Del Taco. Come on guys, it isn't that bad ;) :P

Another excellent riff.   Janet and Cole are a great team.

Risky Business was mentioned during the riff and I can't help but think that movie would be perfect for them.
