Is it wrong that I really don't consider Ghost to be all that bad of a movie?!

I wasn't aware that people thought it was a bad movie.  I love it.  And lest we forget, it was a Best Picture nominee.  I think it gets lumped in with the rest of Swayze's oeuvre so people think of it as cheesy and bad and it's not.

Watched it last night.

Very funny and they obviously work well together.    Janet's "dumb guy voice" killed me every time.

Oh, arent they on the main page?

Hey Rifftrax, here's a new business plan for you - stop telling people when you release a product.

?   ???

Well, the bit that confused me was why you would say that- I understand when the guys advertise on their front page, the part I was wondering about was when they advertise two people Ive never heard of doing a movie before.  No offense to them, just wondering why they were, as someone else said on this thread, they weer being so heavily promoted as opposed to others.  Did I clear that up for YOU?

Janet and Cole are the creators of San Francisco Sketch Fest and therefore have a following in the improv world.  They're also friends of Rifftrax and people whose work Mike enjoys and wants to promote, so this is a legit Riftrax Presents release and not an iRiff, that's why it's being promoted.  They're honorary Rifftraxians in my mind, kind of like Bridget, and their tracks are just as funny as ones by Mike, Bill and Kevin.   :)

Guess I wasn't sure why I needed to clear it up when their bios are on the page (linked to the promoting that you were talked about):

http://www.rifftrax.com/riffers/guest-riffer/janet-varney

http://www.rifftrax.com/riffers/guest-riffer/cole-stratton

Rifftrax Presents is explained here:

http://www.rifftrax.com/rifftrax-presents

And it's not their first release either:

http://www.rifftrax.com/rifftrax-presents/dirty-dancing

(Not to mention they wrote on the first Harry Potter Riff)
FINE

I guess I had better things to do than go to all the trouble of doing that when I could just, I dont know, ask someone.

Hahaha. The five minutes it would have taken you to read that text was taken up by some big important task?

Was it this, this, this, this, or this?

I love how you're on the website with all of the information you want, discussing the link that will take you to the answers you're after and that THIS:

is the way you ask this:

Whatever man.  It seems yoou were really offended by a simple question that wasnt directed at you.  In the time it took you to write and quote all of that- you couldve been watching cookies bake or an apple brown.  I was already warned about you via a PM on here, so Im not wasting any more time.  I hope you get some help for your misdirected anger.

That is hilarious!

And I assure you I wasn't angry.

I posted a one-liner and you quoted it back with what seemed to be not understanding and then acted like I was dumb.
FINE

Save that for the Recast thread, where everyone insists on asking "what's my character like?" instead of Googling it.

I think Ghost itself is pretty cheesy and crappy. Demi Moore is a cold fish, all the "comedy"  stuff with Whoopi Goldberg just grates, and for a supernatural romance, it's almost completely lacking in atmosphere or any memorable visuals. Yeah, it got nominated for an Academy Award in 1991, so did Godfather III (begging for a riffing.) And Dances With Wolves (really begging for a riffing) won.

The riff was funny. I'll keep my eye out for Janet and Cole's sketch stuff the next time I'm in San Francisco.
