Also I do have to say that when someone famous dies there won't be a shortage of stuff for you to buy.  I had people FRANTIC to get their hands on MJ cds and DVDs and whatevers I had in stock at my store.

There is no magic in mylar.  It's a hateful, clingy, fragile yet annoyingly sharp material that's scarred four of my fingers over the past decade.  A pox on mylar!

Nah, there's no way in hell there's any force out there that's making celebrities die in 3s, but it certainly does SEEM to happen. Most likely it just happens often enough to stick out in our minds.

But yeah, my response was just like.... "He's fucking DEAD!?" Ed McMahon was at an appropriate age to die of natural causes, and Farrah Fawcett had very advanced cancer, so neither of those were particularly shocking. That's not to say it wasn't sad that they died, but Michael Jackson was FIFTY, man! That's no age to go! As far as I know he didn't have any life-threatening illnesses either.
