I think it's sad. He wasn't old and he was planning on launching a come back tour. I would have liked to have seen what he would have done. Regardless of what his personal life was like, he's given the world some incredible music and entertainment. I feel like now he's gone too young and the world has lost out on what he might have done.

The flip side of that, of course, is that now fewer kids will be molested. So... take that as you will.

Well, celebrities usually die in sets of three.

No they don't people just choose to remember that they do.

One of my uncles often says "Funerals always come in threes".  And yet, somehow, every funeral manages to be "the third" in a set of three.  I've never heard him at a funeral say "well, no one else has died recently, so I guess we should be seeing two more within a week...".

Yesterday, when Farrah passed, my friend and I were talking and I even told him that I was worried about Patrick Swayze because of these deaths coming in threes.

He told me online about Jackson's cardiac arrest by saying, "You were right but you got the wrong one."

Well, I've been getting my news from the World of Warcraft trade channel today, so I am saddened to hear of the deaths of both Michael Jordan and Randy Jackson.

I still believe that I you can fly, dawg.

In Twitter and Facebook news, RIP Jeff Goldblum, and let's all pray Harrison Ford is found somewhere near his sunken boat.  Oh social networking, you are classy and beautiful.

I saw someone on my Facebook friends list falling for the Jeff Goldblum one. "But I can't find reports of it on the internet..."

Use your head...  ::)

Bright side: MTV is playing all MJ's videos.  I forgot how much I love the video for "Leave Me Alone".

Apparently the "reports" about Goldblum are a recycled hoax from 1999.

Well, celebrities usually die in sets of three.  Who's next?

We still have 6 more hours (9 on the west coast) to make them all in the same day.

Fawcett was the third.

1.  David Carradine
2.  Ed McMahon
3.  Farrah Fawcett

1.  Michael Jackson
2. -----------------------
3.  ----------------------

As far as the molestation charges go: thou shall not bear false witness.  It's rather like, "Doubt."  It's a HORRIBLE thing that they did to that man and his career if he was innocent, and it's a GRAVE thing he did if he wasn't.  We'll just never know but, he'll always have this asterisk by his name.

Fox News interviewed via phone Uri Geller.  According to the magician, under hypnosis, Jackson denied molesting any child and claimed he paid the money because he just wanted it all to stop.

Are you serious?

A) David died on June 3rd, when does the magical celebrity death count start and finish? Of course they happen in threes if you're allowed to have a almost a month in between deaths! How many famous people in the world are there? What would be incredible is if a celebrity DIDN'T die every week.

Here's a list of famous people who died so far this year:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:2009_deaths

Celebrities don't die in threes, they just die and we convince ouselves there is some kind of pattern.

B) Uri Geller is a very well documented fraud.

HOLD ON SWAYZE!

Jackson became very sad to me the last decade or so, he was pretty much reduced to being a lazy and outdated punchline for inane morning DJs.  No matter what you think about the surguries, rumours or anything else, nobody can deny the Jackson 5 and his first 3 solo albums are some amazing pop music (anyone who isn't smiling by the time the vocals kick in on "I want you back" has no heart)

Scottotd on Instagram

"A thing I like that there was no chance would ever continue until recently is now continuing but it doesn't meet my exact personal specifications so fuck this"

- how I read any complaint about MST3k (or Star Wars or Ghostbusters)

Yeah, I don't count David Carradine on this '3's List' either..  :-\

Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett, and now Michael Jackson died of natural causes; not murder/suicide..
