Find it odd / compelling / creepy that they have a variation of the word "dead" 3 times in that URL.

That's done to have all three words there for searches done in google or other search engines.  They're trying to get their article to pop up at the top of any likely searches done on the story.

CNN's getting it from the L.A. Times.
"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere.

Children around the world are a little safer today.

That may be a little harsh but I have no sympathy for a pedophile, no matter how badly his parents and being in show biz so young messed him up.

I think CNN still has him in just a coma.

And the Washington Post is quoting TMZ, not "backing them up."

Well, he's looked like he's been dead for quite a while anyway.  That was one messed up guy.  RIP

Um....don't get me wrong. I feel very sorry for his children (the ones he's been raising because there's been questions). Especially the way they've been raised...smothered, in fact.  That South Park episode is going through my head.

But this stuff on the news about how sad this is....

Even one of the jurors at the trial said, "We believe he's done this kind of thing. They just didn't prove it in this particular case."

Remember the whole man.

And the Washington Post is quoting TMZ, not "backing them up."

You've just been sitting waiting to pounce for the past month, haven't you?  Jesus.

Remember the whole man.

Very few people are doing that, they'd rather stick to one extreme or another.

I know. Some guy they just interviewed in front of the hospital said that all of music started with John Lennon and Michael Jackson....

Someone that brain-dead shouldn't be getting close to a morgue.

Well, this kind of sucks. Coming right on the heels of Farah Fawcett also dying. Man. Not that I was a fan of either, but still shocking nonetheless.

Wow, so his body finally caught up with his career and reputation.

Not sure it's sad, more just, huh, really.
