First you have a movie that is made by an eccentric genius so wrapped up in his own Californian reality that he assumes what he has made is immediately understandable, accessible  and important to a mass audience. That and if you continue to say your film is a masterpiece against all the evidence to the contrary, everyone will come around and  believe you, eventually.  Keep on dreaming Tommy, weirder things have happened!

Oh Jesus.  I think we just saw Isaac's fate.

I think it says something that at least 5 people on this forum have compared this guy to Isaac so far.  I find it very funny.

Finally got this through Netflix and...wow.  Just wow.  Gave it a 9, another day I might rate it a 10, as riffs often improve the second or third time watching.  This is the kind of movie I expect one of my old roommates to make someday, just without the Europey accent.

The computer business is very competitve, WHAT KIND OF MONEY?!?, Keep your stupid comments in your pocket!! Just sooo many WTF chuckles are rolled out by the movie, the riffers are almost superfluous a lot of the time.... That's not to say that they don't bring some funny, lots of good riffs in this one. They handled the sex scenes about as well as could be expected without being creepy, although the only Disembaudio appearance that made me laugh was the bit about horse tranquilizers and hay. When it was all said and done, there were some good riffs and Mike did a great Johnny impression... but the movie itself did a good amount of the heavy lifting. I'm giving it a nine, with seven for the riff and two bonus points for the source movie going above and beyond the call of duty in providing unintentional comedy.

After hearing so many "Oh hi, so-and-so" quotes, I finally ordered a copy of The Room (you can't even torrent this movie) from Amazon (who now recommends bad romance tragedies because they think I like them) and the Rifftrax.
I rated this an 8 only because I found the Disembaudio segments to be so annoying. I normally love Disembaudio! But the arguments were loud and irritating. Otherwise, one of the best Riffs I have ever had.

Yeah, we always mute that section. It also makes the movie not ideal to introduce newbies to, when it otherwise would be.

On the whole, the skits they did during the sex scenes in "300" were better than those in "The Room".  More imaginative.

Still, "The Room's" Disembaudio's skits were better than the folk song skit.  That one felt exactly like what it was; filler.

We turned 300 off, the riff didn't work for us at all. Was the folk song skit from that as well? I don't remember it.

The folk song skit was in "The Room".  "There's a hole in my bucket, dear Liza, dear Liza" etc.

Different strokes, I guess.  I loved 300.  Especially Mike's spot on "Faramir" impression.
