It does all right. Some songs sync up better than others, but it's probably the only way I'll ever get to DDR to Weird Al's Polka Your Eyes Out. :^)

There's that open source DDR program for the PC.  You can download and create song steps.  The only thing is that you need to purchase a compatible dance pad or a compatible PS2 to USB converter.

I wouldn't pay the full $50 price tag for it, but it's definitely worth a bargain bin $30 or under price. :^)

You haven't lived until you've plugged Rammstein into Dance Factory.

Yeah. My main complaint about the game is that it takes forever to load a music CD into the game. But if you can deal with that, then it's definatly worth it (in a bargain sort of way, as Pak said).

http://www.stepmania.com/

Best DDR emulator, hands down... It works on windows, mac, and linux, and it's way easy to use... the only problem is that it doesn't come with any songs, but if you just bittorrent "stepmania" you'll be fine. I just finished downloading a 5.6gig torrent that has every single official ddr/pump it up/dancing stage version... plus 1000s of other songs... its pretty neat.

I play for an hour or two a day... it's my workout. Ultramix 2 for Xbox has a great workout mode that counts how many calories you've burned, miles you've jogged, etc. It's great for geeks who dont wanna workout, but are starting to get a little paunchy!

I'm trying to get into it.  I need to get regular exercise, and I hate execise.  I picked up a copy of DDR SuperNOVA and one of these http://www.buynshop.com/productinfo/4985/VG-DDR-ULTDX.  From what I hear its a damn fine pad, AND it's stepmania ready.

DDR is the perfect exercise for people who hate exercise. Somehow I don't mind all that jumping around and moving if I get points and unlockables for it.

Life is all about points. :^)

Sweet, sweet unlockables! :^) I'd probably be CEO of a major company if every job promotion also included a special vehicle or item that nobody else gets. :^)
